Jorge Cuadros, Commander, NAVFAC Atlantic, served as the keynote speaker during a groundbreaking ceremony, Jan. 6, 2026, for a new state of the art Child Development Center (CDC) to be constructed on the installation. The ceremony marked the official start of a project aimed at strengthening family readiness, enhancing quality of life, and modernizing the Navy’s approach to delivering critical shore infrastructure.
