    Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility

    Navy Diver 2nd Class, Carter Nabors enters the water with Navy Diver 2nd Class, Matthew Nobles serving as his dive tender. Code 760 Regional Dive Division, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility performed a salvage operation to remove an underwater mooring hazard near Pier Delta at Naval Base Kitsap. Navy divers from Bangor and Everett, along with civilian divers from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility, worked together to clear the hazard Oct. 21, 2025, in Bremerton, Washington. The barge was towed underwater using salvage lift bags to dry dock 3 at PSNS & IMF for salvage on Oct. 22, 2025.
