Retired U.S. Army Col. Frank Cohn smiles after receiving a coin from Col. Mark Danner, Joint Task Force-National Capital Region and U.S. Army Military District of Washington’s (JTF-NCR/USAMDW) provost marshal, at Fort Lesley J. McNair, Dec. 16, 2025. Cohn, along with retired Col. Arnold Daxe, spoke to command leadership and the JTF-NCR/USAMDW provost marshal office about their distinguished careers and their time in the military police corps. Cohn’s last assignments before retiring in 1978 were serving as the command’s provost marshal and chief of staff.
