YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 4, 2025) — Acting Assistant Secretary of War for Health Affairs Dr. Stephen Ferrara presents Ms. Teresa Villanueva with a coin during an All Hands Call recognizing her outstanding performance and contributions to the hospital’s mission. Ms. Villanueva provided exemplary civilian service by modernizing hearing conservation readiness across the Indo-Pacific region, dramatically improving compliance, enabling shipboard DOEHRS-HC capability and delivering vital training and technical support that advanced Fleet health protection and interoperability.
