YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 4, 2025) — Acting Assistant Secretary of War for Health Affairs Dr. Stephen Ferrara presents Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Michael Roberts with a coin during an All Hands Call recognizing his outstanding performance and contributions to the hospital’s mission. Roberts distinguished himself through exceptional leadership, expert clinical performance and steadfast service to his department and the military treatment facility, directly improving readiness through 3,360 patient encounters, a 96% return-to-duty rate and extensive mentorship and volunteer support.
