U.S. Air Force second lieutenants assigned to the 12th Training Squadron await instruction on the flightline at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, Dec. 4, 2025. The 12th TRS Airmen worked with a 12th Maintenance Group crew chief to change a landing light on a T-38C Talon while participating in the Causal Lieutenant Program. The CLP requires officers awaiting flight training to assist organizations such as the safety office, security forces and flightline operations to gain insight into how various agencies work together within JBSA.
