Japan (December 3, 2025) – During a visit Dec. 3, 2025, Acting Assistant Secretary of War for Health Affairs Dr. Stephen Ferrara recognizes Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Steven Vialva for his outstanding contributions working in U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa’s intensive care unit. Ferrara was at the hospital to meet with leadership, learn first-hand about hospital operations, and show his support for the work being done at the facility.
