Petty Officer 2nd Class Edreck Manabat, the leading petty officer for the management information department at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, receives the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal from Capt. Virginia Damin, commander of Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Camp Pendleton and director of NHCP, during an awards ceremony held in the NHCP Wings of Hope on Nov. 20, 2025. Manabat, an information systems technician, was recognized for his superior performance during his two-year assignment at NMRTC Camp Pendleton and NHCP where he oversaw the operation and maintenance of more than $20 million worth of communication and electronics equipment in support of Navy operational and healthcare missions.
