U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Jordan Wolfe, an infantry squad leader with 1st Battalion, 6th Marines forward deployed under 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division as part of the Unit Deployment Program, demonstrates how to secure a rope and create a hasty rappel in order to more easily maneuver through the jungle during an Alert Contingency Marine Air-Ground Task Force drill at the Jungle Warfare Training Center in Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 21st, 2025. This ACM exercise is a simulated crisis response drill that must be executed within 24 hours to prepare Marines to mitigate emergencies, provide humanitarian aid, or counter threats to U.S. national interests within the Indo-Pacific region.
