An artilleryman with the Oklahoma National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 160th Field Artillery Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team preps a M119 105mm howitzer for slingload operations at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on September 6, 2025. The air raid served as a means of significantly enhancing combined planning and coordination across the Oklahoma National Guard. With the support of members from Bravo Company, 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion, 149th Aviation Regiment , the 1-160th FA increased their mission-readiness and ability to rapidly emplace and fire, ensuring the Soldiers are prepared for any challenge or circumstance.
