A CH-47 Chinook from Bravo Company, 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion, 149th Aviation Regiment slingloads a M119 105mm howitzer from the 1st Battalion, 160th Field Artillery Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team during an air air raid exercise at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on September 6, 2025. The air raid served as a means of significantly enhancing combined planning and coordination across the Oklahoma National Guard. With the support of aviation, the 1-160th FA increased their mission-readiness and ability to rapidly emplace and fire, ensuring the Soldiers are prepared for any challenge or circumstance.
