Artillerymen with the Oklahoma National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 160th Field Artillery Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team link up a M119 105mm howitzer to a CH-47 Chinook from Bravo Company, 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion, 149th Aviation Regiment during an air raid exercise at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, September 6, 2025. The air raid served as a means of significantly enhancing combined planning and coordination across the Oklahoma National Guard. With the support of aviation, the 1-160th FA increased their mission-readiness and ability to rapidly emplace and fire, ensuring the Soldiers are prepared for any challenge or circumstance.
