Commander, Navy Region Hawaii is highlighting the family tradition of Navy service across generations with this command photo of U.S. Navy Lt. Edward Whitton, who stands in dress uniform while stationed at the Naval Air Station in Norfolk, Virginia in the 1940s. Whitton is the great grandfather of Lt. Caitlin Dailey, who is a navigator aboard the USS Shiloh (CG 67) stationed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor - Hickam. Caitlin’s father, retired U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr.
