Lt. Caitlin Dailey stands at the helm aboard the USS Shiloh (CG 67) on Aug. 27, 2025 to highlight a tradition of military service by a father and daughter. Caitlin’s father, retired U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Donald Dailey, served in the same role as the ship’s navigator more than two decades ago. He now lives in Gainesville, Florida.
