Chief Master Sgt..Joshua Sanders, Space Base Delta 3 senior enlisted leader, give closing remarks at the conclusion of the POW/MIA ceremony. Los Angeles Air Force Base commemorated National POW/MIA Recognition Day with a two-day remembrance event from Sept. 18–19. The observance included a 54-mile torch run and a wreath-laying ceremony honoring prisoners of war and those still missing in action. The torch was lit at Point Vicente Lighthouse, California, and carried in a relay by base personnel and community organizations before arriving at the installation 24 hours later.
