Command Sgt. Maj. Ebou Wadda, 704th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team (2SBCT), 4th Infantry Division (4th ID), assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), relinquished responsibility to Command Sgt. Maj. Luis Taveras at Fort Bliss, Texas, on Sept. 17, 2025. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the Infantry, Wadda was also awarded the prestigious Order of Saint Maurice, presented by Command Sgt. Maj. Joseph Cobb, senior enlisted leader of the 2SBCT, 4th ID. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
