Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs, MoPA, Staff Maj. Gen. Ibrahem AL. Zangana, the Peshmerga 6th Division Commander, showcases the 6th Division’s progress to members of the Military Advisory Group – North, Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, CJTF-OIR, during the validation exercise in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, Sept. 10, 2025. The exercise was to assess the 6th Division’s decision making process in wargame scenarios. Running from Sept. 7 - Sept. 11, 2025, the training brought together MoPA, 3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade and Joint Command Advisory Team-North under CJTF-OIR to conduct a military tactics exercise to enhance partnerships and assess the 6th Division’s overall full operational capabilities under Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs.
