U.S. Air Force F-35 Lightning II assigned to the 354th Fighter Wing fly in formation behind a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker from the Alaska Air National Guard’s 168th Wing over the Bering Sea, Alaska, Sept. 3, 2025. The KC-135 refueled the F-35 aircraft as they flew to the Aleutian Island chain to integrate with His Majesty’s Canadian Ship Regina. This combined, joint maritime operation demonstrates that the United States and Canada are ready to defend and defeat any threats to North America.
