LCpl. Marista Ann Dryden, a Marine Attack Squadron 211 aviation mechanic and a native of Flint, Mich., and LCpl. Gorge Flores Jr., a VMA-211 egress mechanic and a native of Hamilton, Ohio, took part in tricycle races with kids at their squadron’s adopted George Carver Elementary school, May 3. The Wake Island Avengers have been building a close relationship with the kids at the schoolhouse in an effort to foster greater relations with the youngest members of the greater Yuma community.
