U.S. Army Sgt. Andrew Johnson and U.S. Army Sgt. Lawrence Haggerty arm an AH-64E Apache helicopter with a SPIKE NLOS missile.
The 12th Combat Aviation Brigade conducted a historic live-fire of the SPIKE Non-Line of Sight missile system from an AH-64E v6 Apache Guardian helicopter on Aug. 27 in Ustka, Poland. This landmark event marked the first employment of the missile in the European theater, significantly increasing the U.S. Army’s lethality and combat capability.
