U.S. Army Sgt. Andrew Johnson, AH-64 Armament, Electrical, and Avionics System Repairer, and U.S. Army Spc. Rashuan Skoda, an AH-64 Attack Helicopter Repairer with the 1st Attack Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment, conduct pre-flight checks on an AH-64E Apache helicopter.
The 12th Combat Aviation Brigade conducted a historic live-fire of the SPIKE Non-Line of Sight missile system from an AH-64E v6 Apache Guardian helicopter on Aug. 27 in Ustka, Poland. This landmark event marked the first employment of the missile in the European theater, significantly increasing the U.S. Army’s lethality and combat capability.
