John Schutte, Fifth Air Force deputy commander, exercises the right to Freedom of Entry to the city during the Victory in the Pacific Commemorative Parade in Townsville, Australia, Aug. 16, 2025. The historic military tradition, granted by a city to a trusted unit, honors mutual respect and the enduring alliance between the United States and Australia.
