Republic of Korea assault amphibious vehicles secure Doksuk-ri Beach after an amphibious landing on the beach April 26, while a U.S. Marine Corps AAV floats offshore. The amphibious landing was the culminating event of the annual exercise Ssang Yong, which is designed to strengthen the combat readiness and interoperability of the U.S. and ROK forces.
