Representatives from both the Alaska villages and the 168th Wing made remarks during the tail flash naming ceremony hosted by the 168th Wing of the Alaska Air National Guard on July 31, 2025. Held in the KC-135 aircraft hangar, the event honored the strong ties between the unit and interior Alaska communities, with village representatives in attendance to participate in the dedication of the KC-135 tail flashes.
