CRANE, Ind. (Aug. 24, 2025) – Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command (NMCFHPC) industrial hygienists Jena Brunson and Mike Brown speak with test engineer Andy Bickley about blast overpressure (BOP) exposure monitoring during M16 and M4 rifle testing at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane. Before attaching personal exposure sensors, the team gathered background information on the test and explained how results would be shared with operators and leadership. This work supports Navy Medicine’s mission to protect the health of those supporting weapons testing operations. (U.S. Navy photo by Matthew Hatch)
