U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Brody Robertson, a combat photographer with Communication Strategy and Operations, Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installations Pacific, poses for a photo after being named Marine of the Quarter at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, July 25, 2025. The Marine of the Quarter award recognizes junior enlisted Marines who demonstrate exceptional performance, leadership, and commitment to the core values of the Marine Corps.
“There’s still a lot of work I need to do, and Marine of the Quarter is a great tool that I can use to achieve more of my future goals,” said Robertson. “I’m thankful for the assistance I received from my master sergeant, my non-commissioned officers, and everyone who gave me the opportunities and knowledge that helped propel myself forward and present myself in a good light”.
Robertson was recognized as Marine of the Quarter for both Bravo Company and H&S Bn, MCIPAC, for achievements including earning certifications such as Tactical Combat Casualty Care, writing book reports on the Commandant’s Professional Reading List, and receiving a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for placing first place in the COMMSTRAT Field Training Exercise 2025. Robertson was born in Lubbock, Texas, and enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2022. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Joseph Kreis)
