PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii - Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility Commander Capt. Ryan D. McCrillis observes flight observations during a demonstration at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Hawaii, June 18, 2025. The demonstration was part of a collaborative project between Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility and Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific to explore drone-assisted maintenance, inspection, and emergency response capabilities. PHNSY & IMF's mission is to keep the Navy's fleet "Fit to Fight" by repairing, maintaining, and modernizing the Navy's fast-attack submarines and surface ships. Strategically located in the heart of the Pacific, it is the most comprehensive fleet repair and maintenance facility between the U.S. West Coast and the Far East. (U.S. Navy photo by Kenny Jones)
