Staff Sgt. Jonathan Besso, Joint Task Force-National Capital Region and U.S. Army Military District of Washington Provost Marshal Office, briefs military police from the 289th Military Police Company, 947th Military Police Company and Fort Belvoir Law Enforcement Activity, before they conduct oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray training, instructed by Staff Sgt. David Dunbar, Fort Meade Law Enforcement Activity, at Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington, D.C., on July 23, 2025. In order to understand how to employ the non-lethal measure and to familiarize themselves with the effects of the spray, the Soldiers were exposed to OC spray and conducted a training lane with various tasks, such as unarmed strikes, baton strikes, giving orders to and subduing a hostile subject, and decontamination.
