Military police from across the National Capital Region, including the 289th Military Police Company, 947th Military Police Company and Fort Belvoir Law Enforcement Activity, participate in oleoresin capsicum (OC) exposure training, July 23, 2025, at Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington, D.C. In order to understand how to employ the non-lethal measure and to familiarize themselves with the effects of the spray, the Soldiers were exposed to OC spray and conducted a training lane with various tasks, such as unarmed strikes, baton strikes, giving orders to and subduing a hostile subject, and decontamination.
