U.S. Navy Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Dustin Borges, of Naval Beach Unit 7, directs the landing of a Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) on July 15, 2025. The skill of the Sailors quickly and safely delivered U.S. Marines from their ship to the beach, and loaded U.S. Marines and their equipment for transportation back. Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key allies and partners, while enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
