A U.S. Navy Sailor with Naval Beach Unit 7 watches carefully as vehicles and equipment from the U.S. Marine Corps Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, are loaded onto a Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) in Queensland, Australia, July 15, 2025. The watercraft are used to facilitate the rapid deployment and retrograde of equipment and personnel and were practicing the amphibious landing as part of Talisman Sabre 2025. Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key allies and partners, while enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
