Lieutenant-General Iain Huddleston, the new North American Aerospace Defense Command deputy and Canadian Element NORAD commander, makes his initial address to members of the command during a ceremony July 15, 2025, at Peterson Space Force Base, Colo. Huddleston, who previously served as deputy vice chief of the defence staff for the Canadian Armed Forces, will act as an advisor to the NORAD commander on matters regarding the management and employment of forces assigned to the command.
