An Australian Defence Force soldier from the 1st Aviation Regiment observes a tactical aviation ground refueling system (TAGRS) demonstration on Royal Australian Air Force Base Darwin, Australia, July 08, 2025. This is the first time the TAGRS has been used to refuel an Australian aircraft, marking a new milestone in bilateral expeditionary refueling operations. MRF-D 25.3 is part of an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and Allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
