Police officers from the Lakewood, NJ, Special Response Team work in urban scenarios to provide tactical care to injured officers at the Fort Dix Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC). Tactical medical training for officers who are not who may have to act as the first responders are taught by medical personnel assigned to the teams and evaluated on their performance. They utilize the MSTC as it provides the noise, the smoke, and urban scenarios that officers may encounter in real life scenarios.
