The inflatable dome offered student’s a unique, interactive lesson in astronomy, connecting STEM education to real-world applications in navigation, exploration, and science. More than 40 rising 6th through 9th graders participated in this year’s three-day camp, which focused on team building, creativity, and critical thinking. During the closing ceremony, several groups were recognized for their space-themed creations that included balloon-powered cars and spacecraft docking procedures.
