NORFOLK (June 12, 2025) – Students from colleges across America, enrolled in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidate (NUPOC) Program receive a tour of the Virginia-Class fast-attack submarine USS Oregon (SSN 793) as part of the day-one-ready Sailors initiative June 12, 2025. The NUPOC Program offers students pursuing a degree in engineering financial benefits in exchange for obligated service after graduation as a commissioned officer.
