Cmdr. Jonathan Wolstenholme, the Legend-Class U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stratton’s (WMSL 752) executive officer, provides a tour of the cutter’s bridge to Yoshii Akira (center), Japan’s Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation, and Tourism, and Miyaji Takuma (left), Japan’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, and their staff during a tour aboard the Stratton after arriving in Kagoshima, Japan, June 16, 2025. Stratton is deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
