Brig. Gen. Brad Hinson, 13th commanding general, U.S. Army Sustainment Command, passes his unit’s guidon to Lt. Gen. Chris Mohan, AMC deputy commanding general and acting commander, during a relinquishment of command ceremony June 12 on Memorial Field at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois. The passing of the guidon from the commander to the presiding officer symbolizes the formal relinquishment of command. His next assignment will be as the commanding general, 1st Theater Sustainment Command. Maj. Gen. Eric Shirley will assume command of ASC in July.
