Engineers from the Michigan Army National Guard, U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, and Latvian National Guard (Zemessardze) conduct joint land-clearing and site preparation operations in Selīja, Latvia. Using Latvian military engineering equipment, the multinational team collaborated on training in heavy equipment operation, survey techniques, and earthmoving to increase engineer interoperability. The work supports development of Selīja as a future multinational training site for NATO allies and partner nations.
