U.S. Army Sgt. Jacob Grover, a horizontal construction engineer with the 507th Engineer Battalion, uses a radio to direct equipment operators during land-clearing operations at Selija, Latvia, June 5, 2025. Using Latvian military engineering equipment, the multinational team collaborated on training in heavy equipment operation, survey techniques, and earthmoving to increase engineer interoperability. The work supports development of Selīja as a future multinational training site for NATO allies and partner nations.
