Rep. Jen Kiggans visited Military Sealift Command’s (MSC) Underway Replenishment Center (MUTC), at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The visit served to familiarize Kiggans with the afloat training Civil Service Mariners (CIVMARs) receive before crewing MSC’s fleet. The MUTC is the primary training pipeline for CIVMARs, many of whom have no maritime experience before coming to MSC. (U.S. Navy Photo by Jennifer Hunt)
