U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet

Sixteen NATO allies, more than 40 ships, 25 aircraft and approximately 9,000 personnel kicked off the 54th iteration of annual exercise Baltic Operations 2025 (BALTOPS 25) today, during the pre-sail conference in Rostock, Germany. BALTOPS 25, the premiere maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic Region, provides a unique training opportunity to strengthen combined response capabilities critical to preserving freedom of navigation and security in the Baltic Sea.
