250531-N-JM360-1004 PANMUNJEOM, South Korea (May. 31, 2025) – The 19 sailors of Detail Chinhae, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, participated in a comprehensive tour of the Joint Secuirty Area. This immersive experience provided them with invaluable insights into the region's complex history and geopolitical significance. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments, and is capable at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of operations with efficient airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
