U.S. Army Capt. Walton Brown, chaplain with 1st Battalion, 64th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, in support of Task Force Iron, leads a formation of soldiers from NATO Multinational Battle Group Poland during a parade celebrating the city of Ełk’s 600th anniversary, May 31, 2025. Soldiers from the United States, Romania, and the United Kingdom joined residents in commemorating the jubilee milestone. The event allowed residents to engage directly with soldiers from Battle Group Poland, fostering relationships and building cultural understanding. Task Force Iron’s mission is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent to increase lethality while strengthening partnerships with NATO allies and regional security partners. The task force provides combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s only forward-deployed corps in Europe.
