U.S. Army Col. Ryan C. Kendall, commander of the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, completes his final flight in an AH-64E Apache Guardian helicopter, on Katterbach Army Airfield, Germany, May 27, 2025. Kendall has flown Apaches for the Army for 26 years and has logged over 2,400 hours inside the helicopter cockpit. The final flight is a traditional Army Aviation event marking a significant career milestone.
