    Retired veteran Ron Lemay of the 143rd Military Police Battalion, attended the Honor Flight ceremony at Bradley International Airport on May 3, 2025. Lemay notably received the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star, and the Silver Star, which is the third highest military award for valor. Family, friends, and members of the Connecticut National Guard attended this event to show support for over 65 veterans as they prepared to board a flight to Washington D.C. as part of the Honor Flight Connecticut program.
