Cameron Kindrick, a fuel specialist with the Visiting Aircraft Line, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, removes chocks after completing the refueling of an U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to 79th Fighter Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, April 1, 2025. The 55th and 79th Fighter Squadrons landed at MCAS Cherry Point for refueling while conducting a mock air-to-air battle and cross-country flight exercise to enhance airborne readiness through simulated real-world scenarios, refining tactical maneuvers and threat response.
