A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 79th Fighter Squadron, Shaw Air Force Base, taxis along the flight line before being refueled at the Visiting Aircraft Line at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, April 1, 2025. The 55th and 79th Fighter Squadrons landed at MCAS Cherry Point for refueling while conducting a mock air-to-air battle and cross-country flight exercise to enhance airborne readiness through simulated real-world scenarios, refining tactical maneuvers and threat response.
