250430-N-PA218-2222 CAMP HUMPHREYS, Republic of Korea (April 30, 2025) — U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Jin Sangjoon, right, assigned to Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Korea (CNFK), receives assistance from a U.S. Army 1st Sgt. assigned to 2nd Infantry Division preparing for a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) training exercise during Sailor Week, a weeklong training evolution hosted by the United Nations Command (UNC) Honor Guard and held at Camp Humphreys, Republic of Korea, April 30, 2025. The UNC Honor Guard conducts Sailor Week for U.S. Military personnel to teach a series of tactics and techniques to increase overall lethality and readiness. CNFK is the U.S. Navy’s representative in the Republic of Korea, providing leadership and expertise in naval matters to improve institutional and operational effectiveness between the two navies and to strengthen collective security efforts in Korea and the region.
