Sergeant Major Michael L. Kufchak, the former 1st Marine Division sergeant major, salutes in honor of the colors during his retirement ceremony here, April 5, 2013. Kufchak, a native of Youngstown, Ohio, retired after 31 years of service in the Marine Corps.
